Pentillie is not a hotel in the traditional sense, just a very comfortable Bed and Breakfast.
Breakfast is usually served between 8:30 and 9:30am, using local produce where possible, home-made jams and our very own eggs and apple juice. Download a sample breakfast menu here. We are very proud to receive the Breakfast Award from Visit England 2011-2012.

While we would like to, we are not always able to serve dinner unless there are more than 6 guests in the castle - sadly it is too wasteful of both food and resources. However, when we can, we will serve a delicious 3 course set menu using local produce, from £30 per person. Of course dietary requirements and particular 'hankerings' for local foods will be taken into account where possible.
When we are unable to serve dinner, we can recommend excellent local restaurants and pubs.
We have a drinks license, and a short but carefully chosen, wine list. Soft drinks and spirits can also be found in the drinks cupboard in the drawing room. We operate this bar on an honesty system.
If the weather is glorious, breakfast or afternoon tea can be served on the terraces.
