Pentillie Castle has one bedroom on the ground floor to allow access for disabled or those with limited mobility. However, the stairs to the first floor are wide and shallow which does allow some guests who would normally avoid staircases to access upstairs.
Disabled access is available to the lower terrace and some of the gardens via the rear courtyard, and Ted has very big muscles if guests require pushing up hills!
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the promontory on which Pentillie is built, the majority of the gardens are accessed by steps or steep slopes.
