Disabled Access
Pentillie Castle has been recently renovated to create nine wonderful en-suite bedrooms. One bedroom is on the ground floor to allow access for disabled or those with limited mobility. The stairs are wide and shallow which does allow some guests who would normally avoid staircases to access the first floor.
Furnished to the same high standard as the bedrooms upstairs, the Warren bedroom has a wet-room. This bedroom is on the ground level, enabling easy access to the terraces which provide spectacular views of the gardens and River Tamar.
Disabled access is available to the lower terrace and some of the gardens via the rear courtyard, and Ted has very big muscles if guests require pushing up hills!
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the promontary on which Pentillie is built, the majority of the gardens are accessed by steps or steep slopes.
