The shoot at Pentillie is renowned for presenting high, fast and challenging birds. Managed by Tony Kennedy and keeper Dave Lovatt, the exhilarating pheasant shoot takes advantage of some of the deep valleys that run into the River Tamar.
Since the house was refurbished in 2009, guns now have a unique opportunity to stay in the castle too. The nine en-suite double bedrooms provide the perfect amount of accommodation for a group of close friends or colleagues to get together in the luxurious and private surroundings of the castle.
On shoot days, guns enjoy breakfast in the castle before heading off for a morning of shooting. Lunch is served in either a cosy estate farmhouse, or the bathing hut on the banks of the Tamar.
