Civil Ceremonies

Pentillie Castle is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships in 4 different locations, both inside, and also outside under the loggia.

The rooms vary in size, from the morning room which would suit an intimate ceremony of 20, to the loggia where up to 200 guests can witness your ceremony.

The dining room can seat a maximum of 64 for your wedding breakfast so larger weddings will require a marquee.

If you have booked the castle for the entire weekend, we make no extra charge for you to hold your ceremony at Pentillie Castle, although you do need to organise and pay the registrar separately. We can provide up to 80 chairs for the ceremony, and can arrange for the chairs to be covered if desired.

If you are looking to have your ceremony only at Pentillie Castle, with your reception elsewhere, this can be accommodated on weekdays and within 3 months of the chosen date subject to availability.
