Please don’t change a thing…

“Thank you for such a wonderful visit, we just loved your castle, everything and everyone in it, please don’t change a thing. The most perfect accommodation, the beautiful grounds, the friendly staff, such a lovely feeling, we didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return, excellent!” ~ Anne and Keith Snazel

10 star…

“An absolutely amazing place, stunning accommodation, fantastic facilities and in the most glorious setting. Everything had been thought of and catered for, lots of lovely small touches and an amazing back up service with staff attending on site – overall could not fault it! 10 star” ~ Lynda & Roy Sheehan

It does feel like a home from home…

“Thank you so much for another wonderful stay with you last week. David and I were keen to bring my cousin Jean who was visiting us from Cape Town and she loved Pentillie as much as we do! Thank you for making our visit so comfortable. You are all so welcoming and it does feel like home from home for us!  As your super fans of course this is no surprise! I hope we will be back with you again very soon” ~ Helen and David Wakely

One of the 50 must stay places in the world…

“Since a few days we are back in Germany, but in our thoughts we did not leave Pentillie. A true castle with high rooms and a fantastic view over the river and England’s greenest hills, stylish furniture, stucco and old paintings, fragrant soaps in a nice bathroom, a well sorted bar in a big drawing room with deep soft armchairs and a big private park around. Everyone was friendly and we never had the feeling of disturbing or annoying anyone. It was so nice not to feel like a guest at this time, but to feel like a member of one of those legendary English clubs. We were not only there, we belonged to it. Thank you for not selling Pentillie Castle at that time. Thank you for transforming Pentillie Castle in one of the 50 must stay before you die places in this world where even ordinary people like us are so welcome” ~ Alexander & Andrea

The wheelchair accessible room…

“Thank you for making our stay at Pentillie Castle so delightful. Everyone was lovely and it felt very comfortable and relaxed. The wheelchair accessible room worked well for me and with the laid on water and brush in the yard, I didn’t have to worry about muddy wheels despite the weather! We really appreciated having a room inside the main house, which compared so favourably to so many places who consign wheelchair users to rooms outside the main building which is anything but delightful on wet, cold and windy nights. We would certainly recommend you and are already planning to pay another visit soon” ~ Jean & Stephen Waters

Food at Pentillie

Prepared to perfection…

“The Dinner at the Castle on Monday the 23rd was a great way to relax on our wedding anniversary – our compliments to the Chef and Remy for a very enjoyable evening (and the Fleurie was a beautiful temperature). We love the idea of the DIY Dine (although I had Aga Envy – I’ve only got 2 ovens at home) – we would certainly use the idea if we stay with you again. Other nice touches are a very well stocked honesty bar and the choice and options for breakfast. Breakfast was full of tasty ingredients, prepared to perfection and delivered in a timely manner” ~ Ashley Lamb

The tea was amazing…

“Just like to say what a fantastic, afternoon tea and stop over we had. The Tea was amazing very “Delicious”, and set in your wonderful grounds and gardens just perfect. Staff were very welcoming and helpful Tom the chef was very chatty and his Chicken terrine shavings very tasty” ~ Nick Brown
