Pentillie’s third 5 course ‘Eat The Seasons’ Dinner was a great success last night, celebrating the very best local produce, much of it from the Pentillie Estate.
Our Head Chef Casey spent her morning foraging by the river Tamar to get her shoreline sea vegetables to accompany Brown Crab Pate starter and Crispy Poached Egg vegetarian starter (our eggs came from the Estate chickens.)
The main course of Bocaddon Farm Veal, Cornish Deli Prosciutto & Basil was centre stage and enjoyed by all.
One German guests commented on our dessert of Tamar Valley Trifle ; – ‘it’s so British, we love it’.
We are very much looking forward to our next Eat The Seasons Dinner … we wonder what our Chef’s inspiration will be … watch this space!
