Flapping fun this weekend

Cornwall welcomed thousands of visitors to the region over the Easter weekend. Despite the rain on Sunday, a few visitors braved the weather to come and see our gardens, and have a spot of tea and cake. Easter Monday faired better with lots more sunshine (hoorah!) in the afternoon, bringing a variety of families to Pentillie. Children were darting around the grounds, completing their Easter treasure hunt in hope of some delicious chocolate bunnies at the end!

We also had a drawing competition – well done to the winners! There was also some face painting (ducks, lions, snakes and even cow faces!), and egg head decorating.

Coming up this weekend….

Bat Walk – Friday 25th April. Join us for a dusk walk around the bats’ favourite spots, and the opportunity to see some stunning moths! FREE event. 8pm meet.

Dawn Chorus РSaturday 26th April. Wakey wakey!! Come along for a Dawn Walk to listen and see our beautiful song birds, AND enjoy a bacon bap and hot drink. £7 per person. 6am meet.

Both of these events require booking.
