What a wonderful day we had on Tuesday 10th May 2016, 54 ‘local ladies’ joined us at our 3rd Ladies Luncheon of its kind and what a time they had.
Our Fire Lit Drawing Room welcomed our guests along with glass of wine and elderflower spritz for the drivers!
Our guest speaker was Paula Steer of Lily Warne Wool. Paula was kind enough to provide a lovely cute raffle prize which the ladies adored! After lunch she gave a lovely talk and didn’t only make the ladies laugh but cry as well!
Lily Warne Wool is a mother and son partnership founded and based at Twig Farm, a small family farm nestled on the edge of Dartmoor in Chudleigh, Devon where they keep a flock of pure Greyface Dartmoor sheep.
We celebrated a Birthday too!
As always, we hosted our raffle with great prizes; – Champagne & Hand Knitted Lamb from Paula, Pentillie Tea Towel & Apple Juice and a Pentillie Chopping Board with Homemade Chutneys.
Our chosen charity was Help 4 Heroes on this occasion and we raised a fantastic £219.00 !!
SAVE THE DATE: We look forward to our next Ladies Luncheon on Tuesday 12th July 2016.
We do advise to book early to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited.
