Dog-friendly stays at Pentillie

Woof woof, news flash … we’re dog friendly!

It’s no secret that we are a nation of animal-lovers and travelling with your pet has become increasingly popular. We are delighted to announce that we have finally decided to allow your four-legged friends into the house AND up the stairs, with three dog-friendly bedrooms for doggy stays in Cornwall.

A staycation at Pentillie has always offered you the ultimate R & R break, and we believe that your dog should be treated to the same fabulous Cornish holiday. Our gardens also offer something pretty special for your dog too – 55 acres of private woodland gardens to explore.

Our wonderful Warren, Howard and Kitson bedrooms are now dog-friendly, and have been kitted out with feeding mats, beds, treats and bowls. Just bring their favourite blanket, their food, a lead and perhaps a toy for that home from home feeling. As well as our dog-friendly accommodation, dogs are also welcome to enjoy the communal areas of the Castle ~ we just politely ask that they stay off the furniture!

Walkies at Pentillie

There is plenty on offer here at Pentillie for dogs, large and small, ~ just ask our resident Labradors Red and Tamu. Not least the 55 acres of gardens, the pond and banks of the River Tamar that they are free to explore with you.

Should your beloved pooch have a bigger social media following than you, then Pentillie provides some influencer-worthy backdrops. Imagine the glamour of your Insta-ready dog at the Stone Circle with stunning scenery in the distance, or strutting their stuff down the impressive Lime Avenue.

Once you have all exhausted yourselves racking up your step count and the sofa is calling, we have warm water washing facilities in our courtyard and towels in our boot room, to get your pet sparkly clean before they re-enter the Castle.
