£2,400 raised for Cornwall Air Ambulance
We had an incredible day last Friday for our Charity Coffee Morning, Open House and Gardens event, in aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance, and are absolutely delighted to share that together, we raised an amazing £2,403.73! To all those who baked a delicious cake, took part in our house tours, donated their time, brought plants, participated in our raffle, came along, and showed their support - thank you very much!

Pentillie Babies 80th birthday!
If you are familiar with our history, you may be aware that Pentillie was requisitioned as a Maternity Hospital during the Second World War. Many of those Pentillie Babies will be turning 80 this year! To celebrate the occasion, we will be opening the castle for Afternoon Tea, offering those born on the estate, the opportunity to return to Pentillie and celebrate in true traditional style! Everyone is welcome, so please do join us for this special day. Tea is priced at £30 per person with booking essential.
As many will be travelling from afar, there is also the opportunity to stay overnight on a B&B basis in one of our lovely bedrooms. Please get in touch for more info.

Pool hire continues
Our Friends of Pentillie members are now able to hire the pool as part of their membership scheme. This has proven extremely popular so far and we are happy to extend this offer while the warm weather continues, and where availability allows. The only catch (due to insurance) is that you must be a member to book use of the pool. It's £30 to sign up for the year, and £25 per hour (for up to 6 people) to hire the pool. Some weekend dates available.
Friends of Pentillie members also have access to outdoor theatre and afternoon tea discounts and perks throughout the rest of the year!

Cottage to rent
One of our lovely river-view cottages has become available and we are looking for new tenants to join our estate community. The property has 2 large double bedrooms, a sitting room with open fire, dining room, a large kitchen, plus a family bathroom. There's ample parking, an enclosed garden and its stunning setting beside the river. A well-behaved dog or cat is welcome.
