Summer Solstice Sunrise at Pentillie

Celebrate the start of summer & watch the sunrise from Pentillie’s highest point overlooking the Tamar Valley, Dartmoor and the Plymouth Sound…

Saturday 21st June from 5am | this event is free to attend

Enjoy the breathtaking views from the Stone Circle as we welcome the longest day of the year in one of the most beautiful spots in Cornwall. The sun is set to officially rise around 5:06am, however it will take some time to rise over Dartmoor and will most likely be visible from the Stone Circle 5-10 minutes later.

Updates about refreshments will be coming soon but please feel free to bring your own tea or coffee!


Event Information:

This event is free to attend so there is no need to register your attendance. Free parking will be available at our ‘6 Acre Car Park’, which is just a short walk away from the Stone Circle. We kindly ask that you do not arrive before 4:45am to avoid disturbing local residents.
