Celebrate the first light of summer from Pentillie’s breathtaking Stone Circle

Welcome the longest day of the year from one of Cornwall’s most stunning sunrise spots. Set high above the Tamar Valley, Pentillie Castle’s Stone Circle offers panoramic views across Dartmoor and out towards the Plymouth Sound.
Join us for a peaceful, early morning gathering as the summer solstice sun rises over the hills, usually visible around 5:15am. Whether you’re a nature lover, an early risers, or you’re simply looking for a moment of quiet beauty, you won’t want to miss this start to the season.
Updates on refreshments will be shared closer to the time, however feel free to bring a flask of tea of coffee.
Event Information:
This free outdoor event is open to all and does not require registration. Free parking will be available in our 6 Acre Car Park, just a short walk to the Stone Circle. To respect our neighbours, please do not arrive before 4:45am.
